Before the planet Blade Star is destroyed, a few remaining inhabitants escape with their secret energy source, the Super-Laker Crystals. Now, the descendants of Blade Star have banded together to form Battle Team Lakers and defend the Earth from attacking evil forces. Led by Blade Knight, the Lakers are up against Oleana, an evil alien Dominatrix bent on destroying the Lakers once and for all by stealing their energy source- which is strategically located in a very sensitive spot.
