I'd also like some information from anyone out there who has purchased downloadable games by Triangle/Delta/Trois/Drei (they're all the same company, just different labels) from sites like DLSite. Some of their physical releases have had really gnarly DRM that goes above and beyond most games, doing things like checking clock settings and IP in an effort to stop anybody outside of Japan from enjoying the filth. DLSite lists this latest game's protection as a serial check. I'm not averse to buying my sick hentai, but I would be unhappy if I paid for it and then discovered that it didn't work.

So, has anyone bought some of their recent releases on DLSite (or any other download service), like http://www.dlsite.com/pro/work/=/product_id/VJ009025.html or http://www.dlsite.com/pro/work/=/product_id/VJ006726.html or http://www.dlsite.com/pro/work/=/product_id/VJ008314.html? If so, are you out outside of Japan and did they work fine?

It is 100% your fault for not using Japanese Windows environment to play Japanese games.
Changing the timezone and location is trivial and only take a minute.

The game works fine. But I don't actually have a non-Japanese environment to test it.

The DRM is fine, I would rather they make it even stronger. Perhaps that could save this industry.

I know how the basics work. But certain games from this company, notably 獣魔戦姫エクセリア, went above and beyond that. Even if you ran it with Japanese format, Japan location, and Japanese for non-Unicode programs, it would not even install in Windows 7 without a workaround. That is why I'm asking for information.
