Have you tested it Biohrd? I'm very curious because it is a Black Package game and often it only worked once.

Now when I tried yours it gave me these reports:

I don't see anything wrong or missing here on the game folder ....

I don't know why but because of this reason alone I am VERY suspicious of any Black Package games no matter how old or new they are.

I hope you know the solution to this problem otherwise I'll have to flag this game as flawed.

Have you tested it Biohrd? I'm very curious because it is a Black Package game and often it only worked once.

For some reason it keeps working (any Black Package H-game) after installation and initial run but as you close it and try to open it again it will show an error screen similar to the one here from the same software:

Never tried Black Package games on Windows 8. I run mine on Windows XP VM. Maybe you can give it a shot and see if you can get it running like that.

Now I'm running Windows 7 which gives me free licensed Windows XP VM. But as far as I know they discontinued this with Windows 8. But there is a workaround.

Because Black Package games are extremely dependent on Japanese settings in Windows you will run into almost endless problems if you try to switch between english and japanese format settings. This is why I recommend going down the VM route.

Here is the link to the old post that helped me. If you say Black Package games open once and then don't at all after that. It may be something like format settings for date and time or something similar. Because I think when you close the game, it performs some writing to the files and when it enters invalid formats it might be the cause of the crash. Could be speculation but the best idea I can come up with why you having that issue.

All games worked except Black Package games. This setting finally got them all to work fine

Try to get Black Package games working correct rather than before going around and marking Black Package games on the forum as problematic. Seem that the problem could be your current setup.

Still wish I could play their games without the need to change settings but after changing it most Black Package games I have now works .... so far.
