Help, the game run fine, sound, text, choices are all there but no visual, just all black.
Do we need flash, codec or anything?

update your codec pack, and make sure it is k-lite pack

Yeah... it didn't work, still the same black screen and the OP is not playing probably too.
Funny, i can play those file just fine with both WMP and MPC.

What is your OS.
If you can play the media outside of xp3 container, that's mean something blocking the game from properly launching it self. If you want antivirus what has build in ramsonware protection, white list this game in it.

A Win7 64 bit. Yeah, it's weird, all showed up, text box, menu, FPS counter, etc. but just black screen instead of the visual.
I do use Norton but my game drive is in its ignore list.

That link is empty on purpose IMO.
Anyway, i got it to work, re-installing DirectX so how about you try that out? Do the one in the game folder first then update to the latest one. Hope this help.
