Sorry, but does anyone know what I can do when I keep getting the error message:
"The program can't start because avformat-lav-55.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I've tried finding the file online, I've tried redownloading the RPG VXAce RTP, I don't know what else will fix this.
It doesn't prevent the game from running, but nearly every time I try to start talking to someone, the error appears twice and I have to press OK to skip. It's mostly a minor inconvenience, but I'd like it gone.

Free Download avformat-55.dll to your computer.
Copy the file to the install directory of the program that missing the dll file.
If that doesn't work. you have to move the dll file to the system directory.

(Windows 95/98/Me) - C:\Windows\System
(Windows NT/2000) - C:\WINNT\System32
(Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7) - C:\Windows\System32

If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, The System Directory in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
Reboot computer.

Got same error, I download avformat-55.dll online, and reinstall the ffmpeg, now it works!
