SUMMARY
You are Minoru Sasazuka, age 19, a bit of a dreamer with a difficult tendency of not being able to make decisions when your heart is involved. A normal Japanese boy, trying to get into college, you've got a handsome physique that should make you popular with girls, but your occasional penchant for romanticism drives them away. Invited on a winter dream ski trip with a group of friends, you head for a ski lodge for some winter skiing and fun. For you, it's a journey home, since you frequented this particular lodge since when you were young. With you are Kyoka, a very special childhood friend of yours, her stylish sister Keika, and your sister, Honami.

At the lodge, you enjoy the hospitality of the owner, Kasumi, a competent woman with a tinge of sadness in her eyes. Also at the lodge is the lovely Shizuka, the mysterious helper who has many secrets. As the story develops, you are confronted with the reality that Kyoka, your friend since childhood, loves you. You've suspected this, but haven't ever been able to face this before now, with the magical and romantic winter snow all around you.

CHARACTERS

Kyoka. She's the childhood friend of Minoru, and is very energetic and tomboyish, as well as being bossy, nosey, and eating like a pig but she's also a good cook. Although she's always been bossy around Minoru, could she have feelings for him?

Shizuka. The newly hired maid at the ski lodge where Minoru and the others are staying for vacation. Why does she seem so familiar, and why is Minoru sure his destiny is oddly tied with this beautiful but quiet girl?

Keika. Elder sister of Kyoka. She's a self-proclaimed "Love Hunter", and has one goal in life - make out with every cute guy she possibly can! She teases Minoru constantly with her open sexuality, to the chagrin and irritation of Kyoka! Perhaps, though, she might really be such a flirt simply as a front for her deeper emotions?

Kasumi. The owner of the ski resort. She has a great deal of knowledge about and attachment to the local area because it's her hometown, and she is an excellent cook. Her ‘hobby' is creating Ghost Stories to tell to her guests to scare them out of their wits before bedtime. Her husband has always run the resort with her, but he seems to be missing...

Honami. She is the kid sister of the main character, Minoru Sasazuka. Although she has a secret crush on her older brother, she does not share his romantic tendencies. She is quite childish in speech, manner, and body build, but she is also quite bright, much more so than her brother.
