I eagerly rushed out of my dorm to try and catch a burglar who snuck into my school, but next thing I knew, I was laying in a vast, open prairie. "What the hell?!" I thought, but my amazement didn't last long before I was surrounded by a group of men armed with glistening weapons! "Leave your clothes if you value your life," they said. What era is that line from?!

I tried to resist them, but they started spouting gibberish before swinging their weapons at me. I thought, "This is it for me!" But then, a black-haired beauty appeared before me. She agilely swung her huge spear, and sent those men packing. As I respectfully thanked her, she began to name herself.

- Voice Files included already.
- Install
- Replace Sound file with one in the Voice Folder.
- Copy the lcsbody.exe in the installation folder and run that .exe to run the game.

No voice due to lack of funds to pay for the seiyuus. They will add a voice patch if they sold 2000 copies.

Royalty payments for the voice and the number of characters are huge.

Whenever the voice patch is available, I'll add it. :P

Btw, when i play the game the text in it sometime look very confuse. Did anyone have the same bug like me :(

Well I have a few doubt there are too many links and it kind of confuses me, sorry.

Here's what I've done so far:

-I've downloaded from other forum the oficcial MangaGamer Koihime Musou without voice
-I've downloaded from here these two files

...and unpacked them in my Koihime Folder, but I still can't hear the voices.

So, my question is: Do I have to download from these links the voices and if that's the case, how do I install them?

Sorry im pretty noob with whats going on here. THeres a file thats split into 3 parts, then the voice pack file which is split into 4 parts.

Do i need to download both of these or do i only need one?

@Marcus, yes you have to download the later files, those ones and just unrar it in your koihime folder.

@WHYRD, you can download the very first 7 files in the thread, that is a prepatch version with voice included.

tessu, so i just download the first 7 files on the first post?

Maybe it's just me but i think some files are missing from the separate voice dl got all 3 voice dl's. Installed properly. But on some parts the voice stop (becomes voice-less).

Am currently at the Luoyang part and voices are completly gone. guess ill edit post when and if they come back. tried restart, reload and stuff went to an old save and voices work fine during that part but again once you reach the Louyang part its gone again.

*edit* xD yea noticed right after the above part the voices came back

Some parts are not voiced, beats me. Beware the voice patch may cause errors.

If you encounter this error:"This game failed to load the Graphic-files in LoadLayer().", and reinstall wont work;

Try making new install without sound files get past the area that gives the error, then save and put in sound files.
(dont know if this is a must, but i also used new save files, skip with effect off, goes fast)

Anyways this worked for me hopefully wont happen again :D

Hey Tessu, I think you posted the wrong sound pack file. It's supposed to be 2gigs, but the one you gave is only... 2mB?

Extract it to the game folder.
Don't ask me about bugs since I just begin to test it for a while :).
Personally, I want to wait for the official patch of MG .But play the game unvoice is somehow piss me off :(.

Alternatively, if you do run into loops or crash in the story after implying the scripts. Just quicksave often and move the scripts to an additional folder when you encounter a problem and play the part without voice until the next choicescreen. Dont try to save after encountering a loop, the game will simply crash.

so you do not need fresh reinstall every time you encounter such problem and should be able to keep updating patch as it release.

Anyone been able to get past the general area of Kakouton vs. Chouun? I can view all scenes and everything, but after exiting the Base Phase to enter this scene, attempting to quick save, right click, log, or anything (with the menus) makes it so that "lcsebody.exe has stopped working" and Windows forces me to close it down. I'm using Voice Patch 1.2, though this issue appeared before the switch, and I'm using Windows 7. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I don't know what alpha_5 is... but I already have KMVP 1.2b, along with the like, 120 text files....

YES!!!!! I had to go back a Phase, but after 10 minutes of mass/spam clicking, I managed to move past it with a different save. Thanks!
