I see quite a few people still using (and worse still, paying for) a untrustworthy repack, so thought I'd give it a spin myself...

If you have trouble starting the game, run 'Koikatsu Registry Fixer.bat' and start the game once through the launcher (initsettings.exe/initsettings_english.exe)

This pack is made with a up2date base game as of 01.02.2019, along with the components listed in credits, all up2date as of the release date of this pack. Some extras have been included, but are either easily removable or are sorted into folders marked [OPTIONAL]. Enjoy!

To add shortcuts to your desktop of the launcher and the most important folders for the game, feel free to run '[BR] Create Desktop Icons.bat'.

[B]IF YOU'RE MOVING FROM ANOTHER REPACK:[/B]
I don't recommend just extracting this over another repack, due to potential conflicts. Please extract this to its own folder and move over your chara, cap, studio and save folders.

[B]WANT A VANILLA PACK?[/B]
If you wish to convert this pack into a vanilla pack, there is a included script named '[BR] Vanillify the game.bat' that gives you the following options:
 1. Remove only translation, leaving the rest of the mods intact
 2. Remove all BetterRapack Extras
 3. Remove VR
 4. Remove all BetterRepack Extras, mods, translation and VR
Feel free to use this script to customize your install, but keep in mind that using this may make the game incompatible with future repack updates, requiring you to download the next repack in full!

There has been no modification done to the vanilla game files, nor included any self-promoting graphics. Just the fully upgraded base game with what mods I see as essential, and a few utilities for good measure and some BGs I like. I've included the card for the girl in the poster in case anyone wants it, some illusion made scenes from the Japanese Illusion scene downloading site and a folder of optional clothing coordinates from the discord as a few bonuses for those interested. They're all clearly marked so you can safely delete these if you want.

There are two download options, Full for newcomers, Update for people that already have my R3.1 pack (So they don't have to download all of it over again). If you experience ANY problem after using the update pack, please use the full pack before reporting any problems.

FAQ

When I try to download cards I get told the server is timing out/unavailable, or I only get a lot of question marks, did something break?

No, the server hosting the card downloader is out of my control, and it may be unstable or outright down at times. For new users that want to test some cards while the download server is unavailable, you should join the discord where there's a lot of cards available. If you're offline, I've included some cards submitted to me by great community creators that should tide you over for a while.

I got a earlier version of BetterRepack, do I need to upgrade?

Short answer, no. You should have a great experience with any of my packs, but the newest pack will always have the newest mods and extras available at the time of release.... Lacking the newest mods may lead to incompatibilities with cards downloaded around the web (blank screen when walking a girl home, missing articles of clothing etc), so if you experience any problems with an older pack, please do try to upgrade.

I see you added two update packs to your R4 repack, why?

I use the versioning philosophy that large versions (R2, R3, R4...) is highly recommended, bordering on obligatory updates due to including important mod updates or new official updates, while the lesser versions (R2.1, R3.1...) are more of a NEAT kinda deal with handy stuff that you probably could live without if you don't need the newest fancy stuff. As such, I don't expect everyone to update to my lesser version releases. Due to this I concluded that I should probably accommodate the updates to allow for the people that were content with the previous large version as well as users that're on the bleeding edge.

I want to update, but am unsure what version of the pack I'm running, how can I identify my version?

The header image of the release post is included with the pack and named according to the version it fits, and there's also the readme-file detailing your version. Please check those two. If you've deleted both identification may prove hard, so I'd reccomend you just download the full pack.
