BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

Any BlazBlue players out there? I am one myself.

I use Jin/Hazama alternately.
I often, and i emphasise, OFTEN lose at arcades and over PSN. What reactions do i have after each loss? ->:63d4808b:

O_O , i've played BlazBlue ONCE before.
& Srsly, i'm not having a great time understanding the controls >_>
It's not like you can do imba combos like TvC does.
Maybe i'll try it in the future ^^

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift ver. -> It's a fighting game available in PS3 & Xbox 360.
The PC Version is the original BlazBlue, i think :o
The fighting styles are nice IMO but i prefer flashy combo so i go for TvC instead ^^

yeah, i played blazblue orginally for the plot and characters.
arc systems have such a money spinner, cant get enough of the game although i am a ridiculous noob at it. >.<

Hell, i din't even know what to choose from~
But why did you go for BB, Terumi? ^^

Nah, just take your time at playing~
You got the basics already right? ^^
Combos are learned also right? :D

eh~ i liked the character designs and plot.
music was awesome too.

yeah i mastered some very basic combos, but it all boils down to the reaction time, whicch i really dun have.

Ohh~ So you go for the chara designs and plot huh ^^
Hmm yeah, ost are important in fighting games. Get you in the mood XD

Hmm .. then i think the problem lies with your timing huh.
Try to go training mode? (I'm sure you have the game right?)
And do some CPU-full defence or retaliation.
This might get you into a better timing for your combos to hit in.
Take your time~ Or just go youtube actually ^^

yes, i have the game on ps3.
watched hundreds(maybe thousands) of blazblue videos online already.
japan players are of different levels.

Man.. have you played FF13?
Yeah, japan are on a different level and that's because they play EVERYday D:
Like maybe 10 hours a day?
Yeah, that's why they're good at everything.
Or so as it seems.

haha yes i DO have a ps3.
Yes, played and completed ff13 in both jap and us versions.
yeah, japan players either sit infront of their neighbourhood arcades the whole day, or some simply works at the arcade and gets to play the whole day

Lots of people & reviews say that it wasn't THAT good or as good as expected.
I wanna know how you think about it ^^

i have anticipated ff13 for years now, frankly speaking, it quite fall off my expectations.
the plot and animation is of a different class from all games i played, but the gameplay itself was rather.. bleh
the whole party of 6 could be used in later parts of the game, u spent the first majority of the game either 2 person out of a possible 3 person party.
other than that, its definitely worth the buy

Was the graphic good?
So is the storyline better than FFX? (You play FF10 before?)
Oh, party of 6 O_O
Then what about the after game?
Is there any add-on features or things after you complete the whole game?

u have 6 characters, but only get to use 3 during battles, so u select ur party before hand.
graphic was awesome, never seen better.
storyline wise, my friends argue that ffx was better. personally, i felt ffxiii was better.
after the game, u have the chance to completely max out ur party stats and extra missions can be done for stronger items etc, normal rpg stuff

Ohh i see, so if one your party member falls, can you call the other 1 out of the 3 that are not used in the battle?
Hmm.. okay..
Yeah, FF10 was touching and nice.
Wait, is FF13 like FF10?
Like strategy, or you run and hit on the spot?
How does to battle style looks like?

no u cant the other 3, u control the leader, if out of the party, the leader falls first, game over.
ff13, theres no random encounter or running away. u can see the mobs on the walking field, some can be avoided, some cant

Oh, so that's how it works.
Hmm.. so it's something like FF12 i assume?
Where you run around, and must wait a certain timeline before you can attack.
It's not that kind like 'I hit you, and now is your turn to hit me' right?

yeah u are right, must wait for bar to charge, then can attack.

So can you dodge physical damage, other than magic damage because they are targeted spells right?
I wasn't used to the system the first time >_>

Reason: Crazy potential and damn nice to play since i can't hit often. Large damage.

the only thing is that i still can't get used to the controls, very used to playing GGXX. Very hard to use the Distorted and Astral combos.
