Given the quality of the 1080p, I doubt the improvement will warrant it - especially since for some strange reason tlacatlc6 used the worst available translation for this series. I'll see if I can dig it out so you can see for yourself, though.

I appreciate your efforts. May I ask why you say they chose the worst translation possible. I usually got to MAL to see what subs where the best. SubDESU was the group that seemed to have gotten the best approval, but then again that always isn't the best source.

MAL (and AniDB) are of little use when it comes to choosing subs - more often than not it's down to popularity and whoever has it out first.

Thanks, that was super quick! BTW, any recommendations for knowing which are the best subs since the two sites you mentioned are usually biased. I used to go on a blog called whiners.pro before which graded the subs by the script, typesetting etc. but it recently closed down.

From what I heard Whiners will be back sooner or later.
Anyway, usually the best way to judge things is to watch them yourself - if you pay attention to the subs, you should see some trends emerging which give you a good clue about the translation. For the other parts, you should be able to tell the difference yourself - and if not, it won't matter to you anyway.

Yeah usually I can judge subs by watching them but sometimes I like to save my time and go with the best option from the get-go. It's good to hear that whiners may come back soon. It was always useful when deciding to watch a new show.
