A over the top perverted comedy series with a solid plot which manage to make me LOL and face palm over Tomoki's antics. A movie is announced already. How over the top they are going to go? Tomoki Tower on the big screen? Flying panties war? Mitsuki bloodbath?

Very amusing episode. As expected of Tomoki, he is truly a man of all men! *salutes*. Nice to see how Astrea bond with Tomoki (the idiot way). Getting outsmarted by Astraea must be like hitting a new all-time low even for Tomoki and some plot developments at the end of the episode. Manly episode need manly ending theme :069::069:

Gahhh, I've yet to watch the first season and I told myself I was going to watch it last year. Must since a friend of mine suggested it and gave me a gist of what happens in the anime.

I've watched it . Not extremely into it though. I'm more a fan of slighty more serious anime. I mean Ecchi and comedy is good, and I do watch every episode, But if you ask me what anime I look forward too every week, Its definitely Not an anime in this genre.

Solid episode

Spoiler: episode 7

Chaos makes her debut, and she is not voiced by Yuka Iguchi, but rather by Aki Toyosaki. Chaos was so freaking creepy. Which is good, of course! Just when i though this show couldn't get anymore madness, Tomoki turns into a watermelon monster.

Second half of this weeks episode takes us straight into serious material. The appearance of Chaos changes things for the worse, and i can't help but come away from this episode, feeling so bad for Nymph . That last scene with fake Tomoki was horrible to watch.

Spoiler: episode 8

As expected of the hyping the staff did in their official website about the episode! This show, even in the first season has hinted at being something more then just a series full of absolutely out of control humor, and i was finally able to see that side of it in this episode.

Had a feeling the drama surrounding Nymph was going to get much more heavier then what we seen last week, and boy it did. Though i'm glad the scene with Tomoki made up for that, plus that lead into Astrea's little development. Seriously about time she was just more then an idiot, and really had her time to shine right there. Followed by some awesome Ikaros, with a terrific performance by Hayami Saori on the subject of what love is. You just couldn't ask for more.

Probably the best part of this episode was the music placement. That delivered so well.

Wondering if we'll go back into crazy humor now for the rest of the season. I'd be cool with that.

Hilarious episode. Yo-Yo swimming was pretty epic, i must admit. Was seriously laughing hard during the boat and Tomo's death flag scene. So funny. The entire fishing segment was great, with Tomoko's dedication/pseudo-lesbian insanity and Sohara being a legendary fish. Second half with focus on Ikaros is very cute. Ikaros is so sweet and innocent.

Looks like they may use the Nymph scene last episode elsewhere since it didn't appear this episode. The return of chaos !! She turns from horrifying to terryfying.

one thing i could say in this episode, "TRULY EPIC!" where does these guys get these kind of ideas? it's epic! it's a unique way to fish someone in a really funny way. the ecchi stuff is brilliant. when it came (super yo-yo fishing tournament) i can't stop laughing, measuring the caught "oppai fishes". i LOL'd when Tomoko caught Nymph. he "Returned the small fishes back to the sea". Nymph was soooo cuuuttteeee!. and Sohara as a big sea monster the so-called "legendary fish" was GREAT!

As for the next episode, looks like chaos is coming back, with her corrupt way of "love".

Spoiler: episode 10

Another usual day at Tomoki's household. We have rocket chairs (Angel beats), now we have shooting water toilets =P. Tomoki falling victim to the angeloids’ refusal to give him some alone time — not even in a man’s safe haven, the bathroom. I enjoyed the involvement of Astrea with Mikako and Nymph helping Sugata, developing them. Tomoki peeping system is hillarious. The reactions from the girls from Tomoki’s “bug” to Ikaros seeing the Tomoki smooch were priceless especially Ikaros's overheating.

Things got serious with Ikaros erasing her memories and Chaos' return. Looks like the anime is heading for an original ending with Chaos' return with her adult form compare to her return in the manga. I guess they want the ending for the 2nd season to be dramatic.

I hope they still use the missing Nymph scene somewhere later. Hiyori's arc will probably be in the movie or a 3rd season xD. Next episode, Chaos showing everyone her 'LOVE' !

BIG EPISODE IS BIG ! Well, everything frm here is anime original.It... wasn't too bad. It was actually fairly nice.Though Nymph's wings suddenly coming back was probably the only part I really have to shake my head to. The manga might be better, yes, but this anime development... was good in its own way.Besides, think about it this way. When the original source is bad (like Ga-Rei), the anime will be "better" than the manga. But Sora no Otoshimono's original source is just so good, no matter how good the anime does, it tends to look like it is worse.

I suggest u watch manga and anime =P. The manga has much more EPIC MOMENTS OF WIN but the anime is much more dramatic and emotional. I definitely enjoy the fights in this episode. Gotta love the teamwork between the 3 angeloids.

With only 1 episode left, Hiyori's arc is going to be in the movie and chances of season 3 may be slim considering what they did here with the anime original material here. To spoil u a bit, the chaos's return (still a loli) just happen in the manga now and the fight should be at the next chapter.

Daedalus thanking Tomoki for taking care of her daughters was nice, too bad she didn't get a response. So Nymph was able to restore Ikaros' memories.

The return of Tomoka was very funny, the pool and the bathroom especially, Mikako back to her antics as well, still don't see how he was able to get flushed through the toilet, twice!

The mock wedding was my favorite, i thought we would get an answer but luckily the restored Chaos saves him or maybe messes up more of his peace and quietness.

All in all a very hilarious over the top episode with character development to wrap up Chaos arc and the second season.

A movie is in the works and based on the preview which is pretty much Hiyori's arc which is fucking awesome.

Spoiler: Final Impressions

This was a sequel I was excited about ever since it was announced, and it delivered more of the goofy, perverted, and surprisingly heartfelt moments that I enjoyed in the original. Astraea’s addition to the cast was a nice one and started things out with a bang, and the story moved on to the overarching subplot regarding Nymph’s wings before finally addressing Ikaros feelings towards Tomoki. The overall progression never felt stagnant by dwelling on anything for too long, and instead revisited them over the course of the twelve episodes in a less predictable and more enjoyable manner. Much like the first season, it gave us glimpses of the serious side of the story relatively early before bringing it to the forefront with the arrival of Chaos. Episode eight was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the season, with Nymph’s emotional outpouring and Astraea’s act of defiance against her sadistic master. The only thing that trumped that showing was the climactic struggle in episode eleven, which went all out in terms of action, story, emotions, and animation to really give off a fulfilling, intermediate conclusion.

Sora no Otoshimono is probably the anime with the best production value from AIC with excellent and consistent animation, good music and different EDs. They also play with the OP by adding music effects like the last episode. Even though it goes anime original for some scenes like Nymph growing her wings back and Chaos' return, the anime original part is done quite well. The manga has much more epic scenes whereas the anime feels much more dramatic. All in all, Sora no Otoshimono is a harem anime done right with hilarious comedy and a solid plot to boot.
