help me remember?

i asked this in the past between a few friends but got nowhere, so i hope someone can help me remember the name of an anime!

here are some of the facts i believe i remember.

the protagonist lives with at least one girl might be more
it's an exorcism type anime, i believe.
in one episode, a horror episode the protagonist and a girl watching T.V. together and something happens, cant remember what =(
in one scene, probably different episode, they are down by a river bank and follow something into a tunnel, i believe the time of day was evening or night

sorry i cant be specific it was years ago i watched this!

can anyone help name this!?
