God Eater steps anime-battlefield!!!

Well, the announcement about an anime adaptation was been some months ago announced, but I wanted just for more infos about that collect.

Due 5th anniversary of GE saga did the developers decided, that GE an adaptation gets.

Plot:

The game sets in Japan in the year 2071 where the world has been mostly destroyed by mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. An organization known as Fenrir was made to exterminate Aragami using weapons called God Arcs which is made from the cells of an Aragami. Those who specialize in exterminating Aragami are known as God Eaters. Originally God Eaters had one type in which their God Arcs can only keep gun form or blade form, however a new type has been discovered that can switch between gun and blade form. Since then, they have been classified new-types and the previous as old-types.

Yeah, I'm aware. Already talked about the possibilities with friends who have played the game as well. Personally, I don't watch anime anymore, but I'm interested in checking it out. Ufotable did a great job with the game's opening animation (which is likely available on YouTube or Nicovideo or something), and it's clear that this isn't going to be a project where budgets will be spared. That, and Shiina Gou did an absolutely amazing job composing the music for all GE games, and an anime adaptation might mean more of his magnificent work.

My main qualm is that the 'canon' main character is supposed to be a 16- to 17-year-old guy named Kannagi Yuu. Having completed the game with a female character, I can no longer see the main character otherwise. (Besides, in my view, some scenes in the game really wouldn't fit a teen guy. Not that there's a scene where your character dances a la Idolmaster, no, but still.)

Then should you again with animes start, because this looks very epic out - especially because from uFotable is: They did also at the Fate/Kara-saga an awesome job made...xD

Both Burst and Rage Burst are expansions of the related games and probably would fit more as a movie a la Kara no Kyoukai in a complementary manner to the main TV series. They may be short, but they're very significant to the main storyline.

1st: Thanks for editing previously Ignis^_^!!!

2nd: Well, probably gets GE later an movie adaptation (well, depending, how successful the TV ver. be will), but who knows... But every case, let's see how GE in the "anime-skin" feel will, then we're more smarter. Ufotable will though sure that manage, like with his other epic adaptations/projects once.

3rd: This is just a edge note of me: Kara no Kyoukai were almost as TV version given, instead as movie series, if the both godlike creators of Type-Moon not the brake dragged had, this was again really a wise decision of the two.
